Protect your future with a Lasting Power of Attorney.

A Lasting Power of Attorney is a separate document to a Will. It allows people you appoint (attorneys) to handle your affairs should you become unable to.

There are two types of Lasting Power of Attorney:
Property & Finance and Health & Welfare.

Your attorneys can make decisions about things like:

Property & Finance

Selling your home
Managing a bank or building society
Collecting welfare benefits or tax credits
Paying bills

Health & Welfare

Where you live
Day to day care, including what you eat and wear
Healthcare treatment
Moving into a care home

You can apply for a Lasting Power of Attorney at www.gov.uk. The forms can be a bit tricky so if you’d prefer us to do this on your behalf, please contact us to request a call back.

In addition, you will need to register your Lasting Power of Attorney with the Office of the Public Guardian (OPG) before it can be used.

There is a standard registration fee for each LPA of £82, payable to the OPG.

Pricing:
